Laughing Birds Accessibility – A work in progress

As you may know, many of our team members and our partners include people with disabilities. We
believe in including people with disabilities in how we do our work and how we design our products.
Nature is our starting place, and it is big enough to include everybody. As we say, “let us draw our
circles big enough so that nobody has to stand outside.”
Our products and bird feeds are designed to bring people of all abilities closer to nature. If you have
ideas or improvements on how to make our bird foods, bird feeders, or accessories better – and able to
serve more people – we want to know! Write to us at admin@LaughingBirds.com
We are new in town. We are working to make LaughingBirds.com accessible to all who love birds.
We’re working to make our websites and mobile applications consistent with Level AA of the W3C’s Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, the most recent update to these globally recognized accessibility
guidelines. Here is what we are doing in that regard:

Mapping Out Your Needs

We are first trying to get customers. As we get through our initial growth and understand how people
are using our site, we will talk with all types of users with and without disabilities and understanding
their diverse needs.

Making Accessibility Part of Our Master Plan

We’re involving people with disabilities as we grow. From the beginning, as we develop our bird feeds,
feeders, accessories, merchandise, website and apps, we think about the experience from the
perspective of users with disabilities.

Optimizing Our Learning and Education

We’re learning more and more each day about what can make our customer experience intuitive,
efficient, and enjoyable for everyone to use.

Accessibility Features

For many people, accessibility means support for the assistive technologies they use to browse the web
and use mobile apps, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech input and keyboard/switch
technology.
This is an ongoing effort, and we are always looking for ways to improve. If you have any comments or
suggestions, or would like to report a technical accessibility issue, we encourage you to reach out to our
accessibility team by email at admin@laughingbirds.com.For many people, accessibility means support for the assistive technologies they use to browse the web
